Dolores attended St. Lukes Grade School in Two Rivers which was staffed by the Sisters of St. Agnes. She continued to reside in Montgomery and served as she could in various religious formation programs of St. Jude Parish in the City of St. Jude before retiring to Nazareth Center in 2004. She worked in the Youth and Aged Ministry Office at Sacred Heart Parish, Yonkers, New York. In 2014 she retired to the motherhouse in Fond du Lac where she continued to serve as a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital and St. Vincent de Paul store while also extending hospitality through prayer, letter-writing to family and friends, creative cards, and reaching out to anyone in need.
