The prince enters with Montague, light breaks, his and Juliets troubles grow dark[er. Lord Capulet is the father of Juliet and a big part of the continuous feud between his family and the Montague's. He was blind to the love in his beloved daughters heart for their enemy, Romeo. However, Capulet's claim that Montague is attacking is absurd as we see Montague enter the scene after Capulet, in the very next lines.
